What We Publish

This is We Had Faces, a collective publication.

We like noticing things. Small stuff. How a peanut butter cup tastes different. The clinking sound of the bar being stocked for a wedding. Who was last to leave a film premiere. The smell of flowering lilies in the lobby.

We publish stories and thoughts from people with a passion for the ordinary. People finding the charm in everyday life, or interstitial moments, or even the details of remarkable ones. Finding the implicit rules that exist in society, and questioning if they have to. We observe, we ask a lot of questions, we stay for the whole party. We'll read to the end.

This is an adventure! An attempt to rescue our attention, and our imagination with it.

Once a year, we publish a complete print collection, because we enjoy the weight of a book and the smell of paper. We also host regular events for our subscribers, so we can see your faces more.
